It has a wide range of architecture - medieval, Georgian, Tudor and modern and is a compact and busy city. Everyone knows that Edinburgh is world famous for its festivals - especially the Edinburgh fringe which plays hosts every year to new and upcoming comedy acts.

No visit to the city is complete without a pub crawl either - the bars are packed into the city and come in all shapes and sizes - from the trendy wine bar to the more tradional Scottish style affairs with fiddles 'n' all.The visitor will have no problem enjoying it - the only trouble is its hard to leave without drinking and eating too much so you are well advised to plan a couple of days recuperation before going back to work...
